Thatza Niza Pizza Sauce Recipe!



Ever made a great pizza at home from scratch? I'll bet not many of us have. I think the main reason is the sauce. We either use a premade sauce off the shelf, or we try to make one that looks like and smells like one of our favorite Pizza joints.

This is one I think you will really enjoy. Give it a try.

Ingredients:
4 TBSP Olive oil
1 Cup finely minced onion
3 Large cans of crushed tomatoes in puree
3Tsp finely minced Garlic
2 Tsp sugar
2 Tsp dried oregano, crumbled
2 TSP dried Basil, crumbled

Directions:
Heat the olive oil in a very deep and thick saucepan. Saute onions over medium heat until just soft, making sure not to carmelize. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring constantly and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until smooth and starting to thicken. Salt and pepper to taste. Puree in food processor until satiny smooth. Chill and use as needed.

I find that this sauce is better the longer you let it simmer, so the lower the heat that you can control, the better. Play with it and add and subtract things to make it your own. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

Here is what you need to make curried chicken:
3 cups of chicken diced into bite-sized pieces
1 cup of chicken broth
2 cups of half and half
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
2 Granny Smith apples peeled and chopped
2 sticks of butter or margarine
1 large onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 red pepper chopped
1/3 cup of shredded coconut
6 tablespoons of flour
1 and 1/2 tablespoons of curry powder

Here is what you do to make curried chicken

Melt the butter or margarine in a skillet on medium low heat, add the onions, peppers, celery and apples. Saute them for about 5 to 6 minutes. The onions should be clarifying. Now add the flour and combine with the butter. Slowly add the chicken broth and stir until the flour is mixing well with the flour. Add the rest of the ingredients now. Stir the mixture frequently so that it doesn't burn on the bottom. When chicken mixture comes to a boil it is ready to take off the stove. From start to finish it shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes to make this delicious meal. Serve with rice.

Here's are three of my family's favorite chicken recipes - for some reason they like chicken more than any other meat and want to eat it all the time. So, here's some ways to change it up and make it taste different. Chicken Stir Fry, Greek Chicken, and Honey Baked Chicken are on the menu! Here are the easy chicken recipes...


Chicken Recipes

Let's start with a fast, easy, and delicious Chicken Stir-Fry. You are going to need: 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1 tbsp of oil, 1 and 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 package of frozen stir-fry vegetables


, and 2 uncooked cups of minute rice.

Here's the directions: Cook and stir the chicken and garlic in the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. This will take about six minutes (make sure the chicken is cooked all the way through). Next, add in your soy sauce, sugar, and veggies. Stir everything and bring it to a boil. Then go ahead and stir in the uncooked rice and cover the skillet. Remove from the burner and let it stand for five to six minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving. Feeds approximately 4 people.

Baked Chicken Recipes:

Now let's make Greek Chicken. This is an old recipe and requires few ingredients. Buy a large packet of chicken legs and put them in a baking pan. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and then sprinkle with Kosher salt and a bit of dried oregano spice. Bake the chicken at 300 degrees for 2-3 hours. Very good!

Lastly, we're going to make Honey Baked Chicken. Purchase some chicken pieces with the skin still on them. Arrange the chicken in a baking pan with the skin up. Mix 1/3 cup butter or margarine (melted) with 1/3 cup honey and 2 tablespoons of mustard and 1 tsp of salt in a separate bowl. Pour this liquid mixture over the chicken and bake at 350 degrees for an hour and fifteen minutes. The honey mixture will run off the chicken so you should continue to baste the chicken periodically as it cooks. Kids love this recipe!

How to prepare Butter Chicken – Murg Makhani
This is one of the famous Indian Dishes and is very popular around the world. The preparation is very simple and one should try this

The Ingredients required in the Preparation of the Butter Chicken / Murg Makhani is as follows :-

1 Chicken
50 Gms of Butter
Tomato Puree around 3 Cups
Around 2 Teaspones of Garam Masala
Chopped Coriander Leaves for Garnishing
Salt to Taste
Cream around 1 Cup.
Green Chili Paste around 1 Teaspoons
Ginger Garlic Paste around 1 teaspoons
Around ½ Teaspoons of Red Chilli
Coriander Power around ½ Teaspoon

The preparation of the Butter Chicken is very simple :-

Wash the chicken and cut it into small pieces, Put Butter in the Frying Pan and add some to it some ginger garlic paste along with the Green Chili paste and wait for around 1 – 2 Minutes. Till it is nicely sauté.
The Add the chicken pieces till it is nicely fried. Once it is done remove the pan and keep it aside.

In a separate Utensil you have to add the butter, red chilies, garam masala, salt Tomato Puree and Coriander powder and add a little water till you get a nice thick curry and boil it for around 15 Minutes.

Then add the pieces of chicken and the Half cup of cream and then boil it for another 5 minutes.

The add a bit of finely chopped coriander leaves to taste.

This dish can be had with some nice hot parathas, puris or just some plain rice.

Milk Cake or the Kalakand is a very famous Indian sweet dish. Today we will learn how to make quick & easy way to make this tasty sweet dish. Here's what you need:

Things You'll Need:

Microwave Bowl
Sweet Condensed Milk (14oz)
Ricotta Cheese (15oz)




Instruction/ Recipe:

Step 1
Take the Microwave safe bowl, Pour the sweet condensed milk, add the ricotta cheese to it and MIX WELL. (using a whisk is recommended). Make sure there are no lumps.

Step 2
Once it is mixed well into a nice smooth liquid, we will keep this microwave bowl to microwave and we will cook (uncovered) it for 5 minutes.

Step 3
After 5 min, take out the bowl and mix well the mixture once again (still a liquid) and we will cook again for 3 minutes uncovered. ( The idea behind is to slowly reduce the moisture off the mixture and solidify it).

Step 4
After 3 minutes, mix the mixture well again and cook again but the only thing is we will cross cover the microwave bowl this time or you can use a microwave bowl lid with a open vent in it. We will cook for 2 minutes.

Step 5
Repeat the step 4 till the mixture solidify. Once this is done let the mixture in a square bowl to set and cut pieces once it cools down.

Garnish with choice of dry-fruits and cardamom powder and rose water.
